Introduction
Kerala which is known as God's own country is a flourishing experience for anybody. Scintillating greenery combined with beautiful backwaters and beaches made Kerala a tourist attraction. The literacy rate is 100 % and basic educational facilities offered is considered to be the best in the country. The state was formed in 1957 and the first  government headed by E.M.S Nambudirippad revolutionized the developments by introducing land reforms. The official language of  Kerala is Malayalam. The main News Papers are
DeshabhimaniKeralakaumudi , Deepika , Malayalamanorama  , Mathrubhumi   and Mangalam.

The land of spices. Columbus started his  journey to find out a sea-route to Kerala.

The only State on earth where
hundred percent  people are literate. (Guinness Book)

The govt. hospitals are all free.
